Carnival Destiny Seminar at Sea & more photos

Had a wonderful time on the Destiny. The 2 seminars agents are required to take were very informative. Ocho Rios was very nice. The Enchanted Gardens had some awesome waterfalls and the Aviary was too cool! To have all those birds eating out of the palm of your hand is a blast. I would have loved to have stayed in there longer! Dunn's River Falls is alot different then when I was there 24 years ago! It was not a commercialized then. The climb took about 45 minutes with it starting at the beach and then climbing up. Cindy and I didn't do it and I am glad. I would have been on of the one's they had to take out in a wheelchair! We saw a couple bruised up ladies. I saw one twist her ankle right in front of me. The tour guide and driver were very good and I would recommend the Enchanted Gardens and Dunn's River Falls excursion.
When we got to Grand Cayman and looked out the window there were 5 other ships in port! We decided it was going to be so packed in town that we would just stay on the ship and chill. So after breakfast we sat out by the pool and read for awhile.
I thought this ship was a little dated and could use some refurbishing. The bathroom was pink, the shower had very low pressure and most of the time it was boiling hot water. The hair dryer on the wall looked more like a vaccum! The cabin had lots of space but there really was not enough storage. Food was good and the service was excellant as always. The first Broadway stlye show was really good. It was one of the better ones I have seen. The 2nd one I had already seen before. The male lead singer looked familiar and found out he has been on Broadway and TV. See pictures for his bio.
I met lots of nice agents and some I hope to remain friends with. We had some great times and made lots of memories. I think I got Cindy hooked on cruising now!!
Next trip Dec. 16 on the Celebrity Century for 4 nights with my hubby and nephew.
