A Travellerspoint blog

St John, New Brunswick, Canada

The ship docked in St John before sunrise and it was a little cloudy. But as the sun came up the clouds went away. It turned out to be a beautiful day! Clear blue skies and warm temperatures. I did a Photorgraphy Tour led by a local photographer and it was good. He gave some really good tips and I even learned a couple things. We went to a beach, Reversing Falls, a waterfall and a fishing village. All very neat places. 21 others from the group went on a private tour to some small towns in the area. They ate lunch at a B & B and saw covered bridges, rode 3 ferries, saw lots of pumpkins and some pretty scenery. The color changes were not as good as we had hoped but you just can't guess what Mother Nature has in store.
Wed. we are at sea, so more Thurs. night from Halifax.
