Progresso

1st port—Progresso. We docked at 7am and were to meet our guides for the private tour to Uxmal at the end of the 4 mile long pier. So we got off early and took the shuttle into town and found our guide holding a sign that said “Croppin Cruise”. That was cool. There were 19 of us and we had a big bus all to ourselves for the hour and a half drive to the ruins. Best way to describe Uxmal---TOTALLY AWESOME!! I have been to several ruin sites and this one is amazing. We were even able to climb one of the temples. We saw tons of iguanas running around. Hope we can all walk tomorrow after climbing those stairs. I highly recommend this tour if you are coming to Progresso.
