Seward

Oh my gosh what a day!! We got off the ship in Seward this morning and got on the bus for the land tour. We took the bus to the Small Boat Harbor where we will board out boat for the Resurrection Bay Cruise. We first headed out to Fox Island for an all you can eat lunch of prime rib, salmon and the works. It was great. The cruise was sooo awesome. We saw all kinds of birds and water animals. It was raining and foggy or low clouds, and we still had a great time. When we finished the cruise we went to our hotel, Seward Windsong Lodge. Some of us wanted to wash some clothes so we headed out on the free shuttle to downtown. 5 from our group and then someone else from our tour went. We get there and there is only 5 washers and dryers!! And 4 were in use! The place said the last load to wash was at 7pm but we were still washing away! Of course the dryers are not real hot and we were shuffling stuff around when someone took theirs out with time left on the dryer. It was crazy! Then we called the lodge and told them to ask the shuttle driver to pick us up at the laundry mat. Well he got their faster than we thought so we sent Rolene and Margaret out to the bus to give us some time to get the rest of our stuff out of the dryers! By this time we are starving so we go to the restaurant at the lodge. There was a plate of nachos that were HUGE! Of course now we have to PAY for food and boy is it expensive. They have a breakfast buffet for $17.95!! Guess we will take the shuttle in to Safeway and get some honey buns!!! Off to Anchorage!!!
