A Day in Houston

Dwight(my hubby), David(Dwight's brother), Dylan(my nephew) and I headed out of Ennis at 5:30am to go to Baytown for me to meet with my Croppin Cruise ladies at Scrapbook Emporium. The ladies are getting very excited about the cruise. While I was in my meeting the guys went to the San Jacinto Monument. Dylan had been there several years ago but really couldn't remember it. He enjoyed seeing it again. I got a free night at a Sheraton hotel by watching a video about their renovations, so we are at the Sheraton Brookhollow off of IH610. Very nice hotel. We will be leaving in about an hour to Minute Maid Park to watch the Houston Astros play the Chicago Cubs. As always it is hot and humid here so I hope they have the roof closed and the AC on in the stadium!!
